Few More Pictures - this summer

Sneaked on Daddy's computer without us knowing.

Sadie helped Daddy paint.

Her legs are finally long enough to try this out, but she won't pedal. She wants me to push.

Looking at fireworks.

M&M World. She must buy the blue ones every time we go.

Feeding a bird - "all by myself."

Sadie Sings

She is singing "Rock-A-Bye Baby" to her "baby" guinea pig, which was actually pregnant with two babies at the time. This guinea pig is now named "mama piggy."

Sadie Reads

Here is a video of her reading a book to me. We had read this MANY times. Our goal has been identifying letters, so you will hear all about our "D" book.

Catch up

These pictures are in random order. Here are a few things that kept us occupied this summer.

Our guinea pigs had babies. This is just one of the two. We had to give this one away. It was a boy.

Swiper is our new addition to the family. He is a ferret. He chases Sadie whenever possible.

My friend Joy and I took the kids to Sea World.

We took Sadie to Sea World and/or Busch Gardens almost every weekend.

Sadie and her cousin Gavin.

Happy 2nd birthday! We really didn't have a party. Just family and a week's worth of cupcakes. Whenever she ate a cupcake, we had to sing the Happy Birthday song to her all over again - with candles and all. If you couldn't tell, her favorite color is blue.

BIG turtle in our yard. Sadie was excited to see some sort of wildlife.

Sadie and Papa's Walking Sticks

Sadie and Papa were using some packing tubes as walking sticks.

More Pics

I know that it has been a LONG time since my last post. Here are some updated pictures for those who are curious.

We took Sadie to Busch Gardens a while ago. She enjoys seeing animals. She thinks that she can talk to them.

We got to feed the birds.

She liked to pet the goats.

Sadie has learned how to ask for "Sea World," "Orcas," and "Dolphins." Because of that, we have been seeing a lot of "orcas SPLASH."

Here, she wanted to talk to "baby orca."

Here, she got to feed the dolphins, but her arms were too short to reach out and touch any of them.

Sadie Dined with Shamu. The orca was THIS CLOSE. The camera was NOT on zoom. She was so excited.
"I am ready Shamu! Splash me!"
I had to share the best photo I have taken so far! It is all part of the act. Don't be afraid. :)
Probably time to go home now.

She looks cool in her glasses.

SILLY FACE!

Four Word Sentence

I forgot to mention that Sadie said her first four word sentence on the swingset last Sunday. She was in her swing, and her whales were in the swing next to her. When she was finished, she told me that she was "all done." Then when I took her out of her swing, she told me "whales all done too." Oh yeah. She is a genius.
